Farel College is a secondary school in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. There are approximately 1480 students (aged 12-18) and 110 members of staff. The school has had a bilingual programme since 2006 and about half of the students follow this programme. In this programme, about half of the subjects are taught in English.

Farel College has its own Science Campus. The Campus consists of various labs and the Beta Laboratory. By closely cooperating with the business world, the theory in school is linked to the practice on the work floor, making theory for students much more alive.

Both students and teachers have an international attitude. In recent years there have been exchanges with schools in Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain. In addition, Farel College has participated in various Erasmus projects.

II Liceum OgólnoksztaÅ‚cÄ…ce is a secondary school in Poznan with 600 students (aged 16-19) and 60 teachers employed. The school prepares the students for higher professional and university level education and offers the IB Diploma Program.

The school emphasizes international mindedness and bilingual education, and it attracts students who are highly motivated and dedicated. A significant number of them later apply to universities abroad. The school has international exchange programs with several partner schools.

We believe that students engaging in international projects can gain the first-hand experience of cross-cultural co-operation. They can develop their linguistic and ICT skills and benefit from activities of the CLIL methodology. During the project the students can expand their analytical, research and debating skills, raise their awareness as European citizens.

IES Algarb is a public secondary school situated in the small village of Sant Jordi de Ses Salines (Balearic islands, Spain) although it’s closer to Ibiza town. There are approximately 800 students (of 23 different nationalities) and 90 teachers and our educational program includes (about 50% each) secondary education (12- 18 years old) and vocational training (+16) in the fields of Health, Sports and Physical Activities, Personal Image and Sociocultural and Community Services.

The socio-economic status of our students’ families is medium-low (most of the parents’ jobs are related to tourism) and the school is situated in a rural area although very close to the most famous touristic area.

We started working on international projects in 2005, only with vocational training, being recognized for our great job with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 and the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter in 2017. We completed our goal when we joined our first KA2 project in 2015, titled “CITIES”, and then we became a reference school for our community on Erasmus+ projects. Since then we have settled a school project titled “PROMICLES” which aims to improve foreign language competences (French, German and specially English) both for all our students and most of our teachers

Recently the school saw the inclusion of students that have recently arrived in the country in an “Introduction class”. Many of these students have refugee background.
